Except for stories written by Patrick Tracey, I almost never finish a Washington City Paper cover story—I don’t have the required attention span. But once I started “My So-Called Stalker” (10/8), I could not stop reading. Almost all of my knowledge about stalkers and their victims comes from the news or from cheesy Sunday night movies on ABC “based on a shocking true story.” But this article was absolutely riveting. “Theresa” does an incredible job describing her descent into pain, suffering, and anxiety. I desperately hope things work out for her—that they are able to catch the guy and put him away. No one should have to go through an ordeal like that.
