I read the Washington Post’s coverage of your story, “My So-Called Stalker” (10/8); then I read the letter from the reader who offered to pay the $50 fee to enter the story in the running for a Pulitzer Prize. Then I had to read the original story for myself. I just did so. And it is truly a compelling and wonderful piece. My sympathies and congratulations to the author for her magnificent first-person account of a horrible and horrendous four-year ordeal—congratulations for survival and for sharing and helping others. My praises to any editors who helped in shaping it for its final presentation.
Good work, Washington City Paper!
