I just finished reading the article “A Gay Old Time” (Artifacts, 11/19) by Dan Gilgoff. I was in attendance that evening, and I especially enjoyed the women’s band that played. I was disappointed to see, however, that the group Breathing Room did not even receive mention in the article. It seems that Gilgoff was very comprehensive in the majority of his report. He even included the attire of the MCs. It would have been nice for the four women who played to also have received some acknowledgement.
