Thank you for “School Yarns” (6/9). It’s wonderful to hear that people like Toni Conklin are teaching children. With funding for arts programs in public schools being threatened every year, it is inspiring to see that she is determined to make the arts a part of her students’ lives. And not to mention, in such a creative way! Thank you so much for sharing the story of Conklin and her third-grade knitters with us.
