When I mentioned “political fashion” to my favorite local erudite political commentator, his response was “Bib…” With a bit of prodding, he elaborated, “As in Monica Lewinsky.” Well, maybe. Or is “political fashion” a polite term for the sartorial statements of the Libertarian Party’s Starchild, who reportedly graced this year’s convention in a smart little off-white fur bikini accompanied by butterfly wings and a neon-blue pageboy?
