Buying a new house—qualifying for a mortgage, dealing with appraisals and inspections, learning the ins and outs of home repair—sounds like too much work to be anything resembling a dream. But buying a home doesn’t have to be a nightmare, either. Representatives of Mason Dixon Funding and MSI Realty will show you the basics in handling the most important purchase you’ll likely make (assuming you’re not planning on buying a Stratocaster). Today’s home-buying seminar will show you how much house you can afford, how to find a suitable property, and how to negotiate a contract and settlement. The seminar may not turn house-hunting into a dream, but perhaps it will make the process a bit easier for you.
