I am writing to let you know how much I enjoyed reading Ayesha Morris’ article “Motherless Child” (10/6). Not only was the writing superb, I found the article to be balanced in its approach. Unlike many authors who argue their individual ideals, Morris explored different viewpoints and challenged the reader to reach his or her own conclusions. I commend the Washington City Paper for publishing such a wonderful article and Morris for making us, as readers, truly think about difficult issues. Continue the excellent work!
