Put on your sailing shoes and get ready for live Little Feat. In addition to touring, the hard-working Hoy Hoy boys have a lot on their collective plate these days. Not only does the band have a new CD outChinese Work Songs doesn’t break any new musical ground, but it’s filled with good-time musicbut also available is Hot Cakes and Outtakes, a four-disc box set filled with 30 years of boogielicious Little Feat sounds. The set is a godsend for me, loving both the Lowell George Feat and the current incarnation, headed by guitarists Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett. Right now, I’m listening to Disc 1 (which covers 1970-1975) and wildly anticipating getting a chance to shake more than a few tail feathers tonight when Little Feat let it roll at 7 p.m. at the State Theatre, 220 N. Washington St., Falls Church. $27.50. (703) 237-0300. (ND)
