I totally didn’t like the way Mark Francis Cohen described the people he interviewed in his article “Black Power” (1/19). The adjectives he used to describe some of the people he interviewed were insulting and unprofessional. He described one girl as a “tired-looking 20-year-old with thick-as-thumb eyeglasses.” His style of describing his subjects clearly denotes immature journalism skills. He needs to go back to school to learn that no one wants to hear his opinion of people in a feature. Just tell the story.
