The investigation of D.C. housing official Lynn French’s purchase of a house from the Development Corporation of Columbia Heights (DCCH) has triggered fierce discussion on the neighborhood’s e-mail chat group, especially among Columbia Heights’ advisory neighborhood commissioners. During the past week, ANC 1A10 commissioner and DCCH defender Lenwood Johnson at one point accused ANC 1A07 commissioner and DCCH detractor John Thomas of being a liar. Thomas responded, “Yo Mama!!” To which Johnson replied: “Please don’t ever again say anything unkind about my dear mother.
