I thought “A Quick Trip to the Grocery Store” (5/4) was well-written. It’s one of my favorite articles I have read in the Washington City Paper. Although I could feel David Morrison’s pain and embarrassment at being caught shoplifting and then carried out in handcuffs and sent to jail overnight, it was also humorous, and I was glad to read that he has learned his lesson and won’t be stealing again.
