I used to look forward every week to reading the Loose Lips column. This week (7/6), I barely made it through the first paragraph (“District residents who had been counting the days to the completion of Charles Ramsey’s contract…”) before abandoning it as unreadable. It gets worse every week.
For the past three years, this column has deteriorated steadily, to the point where it is now a travesty of what Ken Cummins used to do so well. Why not pull the plug on it once and for all? If Barras must have a column, at least rename it out of respect for those who remember when it featured first-class writing.
