Jack Stanton is one talented guy. A combination of his background in opera, dance, and theater, Stanton’s traveling one-man show can liven any occasion as he entertains with his storytelling, crazy costumes, and—can we ever get enough?—”exotic animal ditties.” Although he assumes the guises of a diverse cast of characters (including Outback Jack, Farmer Jack, and—deviating from the formula—Uncle Sam on Stilts), today he’ll be performing as Salty Jack, singer of sea chanties and jigger extraordinaire. (But, because the event is sponsored by McDonald’s, don’t expect a rousing rendition of “What Do You Do With a Drunken Sailor?”) At 7:30 p.m. at E. C. Lawrence Park, 5040 Walney Road, Chantilly. Free. (703) 631-0013. (Tricia Olszewski)
