Who Let the Doggies Out?
It’s bad enough that other movie reviewers have claimed that the term “prairie-dogging” originated with the recent movie Rat Race, but Sean Daly ought to know better (“Ruthless People,” 8/17).
Fans of Doug “Greaseman” Tracht’s radio show know that he invented and used the term “prairie-dogging” decades before screenwriter Andy Breckman and director Jerry Zucker even thought of making Rat Race.
