SUNDAY
Hollywood may be keeping you from seeing Sidewalks of New York for another couple of weeks, but in the meantime, you can go to the movies to check out the sidewalks of D.C. North of Dupont, written and directed by former lobbyist Quentin Kelly of Kalorama 6 Pictures, is a romantic comedy à la Brothers McMullen that tells of the lives and loves of four inhabitants of a group house on, you guessed it, Kalorama Road NW. Some scenes were filmed covertly on Capitol Hill, and one scene was filmed in the very halls of the Washington City Paper, but mostly you’ll recognize the sights and sounds of the eclectic, drama-filled neighborhood that’s north of Dupont. At 1 p.m. at Visions Cinema Bistro Lounge, 1927 Florida Ave. NW. $6. (202) 667-0090. (Tricia Olszewski)
