Caught up in a crazy craze? Prompted into a desperate daze? So filled with jinari—Japanese for the anger of the Earth—that you might shower your fists down upon some man-stealing rival with all the ferocity of the Aajej (a Moroccan wind said to provoke the fellahin to defend themselves with knives)? If so, feel free to vent vicariously at the CityDance Ensemble performance, where every strong emotional tug is just a curtain call away. In addition to Vladimir Angelov’s and Paul Gordon Emerson’s works exploring natural disaster, Eric Hampton’s “Girl Friends” and Adrain Bolton’s “Givin Up” offer shoot-the-breeze sessions about love gone awry. Remember your inner child in Tara Dunning’s “Brothers,” a playful piece about youthful exuberance and a time when things were surely better. And, if all else fails, Alvin Mayes’ “One Breath, One Memory” is a chance to inhale with the good. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Kennedy Center’s Terrace Theater. $30. (202) 467-4600.
