Last week’s Cheap Seats (“Dismember the Titans”) contained several errors. The column incorrectly described the circumstances of the resignation last year of the T.C. Williams High School football coach; he was not involved in a rules infraction regarding spring practices. The T.C. Williams athletic director, A.K. Johnson, was incorrectly identified. Contrary to information contained in the column, the T.C. Williams football team did indeed win a game since the premiere of Remember the Titans, beating McLean on Oct. 21, 2000. Also contrary to information contained in the column, the Titans did in fact hold a lead once this season, scoring first in a 47-14 loss to Lake Braddock.
