What gives? A raw, plain ol’ ranked poll with no context (“The CP Top 20,” 12/21)? What’s the use in that? I mean, if X number of people give the Bilal rekkid a score of 40, what does that mean? And I don’t mean the arcana used to crunch the numbers; I need me some context. Why not a couple of lines on each album? Or a sidebar pick from each crit’s individual list?
