The response of CVS’s corporate communications director, Todd Andrews, to the mess and clutter in CVS store aisles (“Crummy Variety Store,” 3/1) was classic bureaucratic BS. He suggested that shoppers dial an 800 number “where you’ll be given a survey about your experience.” That’s like a kid telling his mom that he shouldn’t pick the clothes up off his bedroom floor unless she writes him a note telling him to. CVS should monitor its own mess if it wants to keep its customers.
