There’s still time to nominate local icons for Best of D.C.
“The Insider’s Guide to Real Policing” (8/16) reads like a sophomoric comedy sketch about any workplace—from the government to the Washington City Paper itself. The sad point is that it is not a “satire,” as the paper labeled it. It is a pitiful example of low-life journalism, irresponsible reporting, and hearsay jabs. How shameful that the City Paper is desperate enough to use this cheap joke as its cover story.
