I, too, dislike them. But on this 1990 mini-LP, Robert Wratten & Co. got the intimate-indie-pop-meets-expansive-techno thing right (“Triangle”) much more dramatically than they got it wrong (“Humblebee”). Plus, no other Sarah act wrote bass lines that could swallow you whole.—Leonard Roberge
