Well, there are a lot of harpsichords, but the contention that this 1968 effort includes “the most overproduced single ever” sounds a little silly on the other side of the ’80s. Besides, the best thing here is nothing more than a couple of sparkling guitars and one heartbroken set of lyrics: “I kissed your face and then I said goodbye/I never realized that you would cry.” —Leonard Roberge
