Heavier on chestnuts than on freak-outs, these circa-’60 live tapes find Sun Ra still steeping in jazz tradition. Too bad the album title turned out to be wrong: Music from today’s world sounds nothing like this cyberpunk take on Ellington. —Brent Burton
