I got so tired of being called a nut case, crazy, stupid, and lunatic by Stephanie Mencimer (“The Sick and the Dead,” 7/11) that I had to scream: “Damn right, I don’t trust society to coerce me into a lifetime of forced treatment!” Society, like the writer, is abusive!
