Perhaps if Tom Scocca gave up his faux inalienable right to drive to work every day and took public transportation, he’d have a much better time (“Free Rider,” 8/1). Instead of getting riled up in traffic, he could relax on the train (or the bus, which takes the same 16th Street route as he does), or even read. I hear the Washington Post is handing out some good material at the Metro stops these days.
