Pretty much every mall in America has the same rules as Union Station (“Rules of Court,” 10/231).

This is nothing new. The rules are there so that the security guards, who definitely aren’t paid enough for what they have to put up with, have some authority when fights are about to break out, which is quite common. If the people at Union Station enforced this dress code writer Felix Gillette talks about, they’d eliminate most of the business there.
