Remember that old Eddie Murphy hit “Boogie in Your Butt,” where he listed all the things you could shove up your fanny? Good times. Well, fortunately, you won’t have to insert Out Hud’s debut disc, S.T.R.E.E.T. D.A.D., into anything but the CD player to get your ass shaking. Out Hud (which shares members with fellow funk-bunkers !!!) gets its groove on by touching on avant-dub, early-’80s NYC dance-rock, Meters-like funk, and other musical forms that make your feet leave the street. The instrumental combo is joined by rabble-rousing rappers Le Tigre and the electronica-ly reconstituted Aspera at 8:30 p.m. at the 9:30 Club, 815 V St. NW. $14. (202) 393-0930. (Christopher Porter)
