Maybe I’m a softie, but neither severed ear nor bloodied guts can detract from the love that seems to be strewn all over this soundtrack, from the happy warmth of “Stuck in the Middle With You” to the lush ache of “Harvest Moon.” Or maybe I just have a thing for Steven Wright.
