How amazingly one-sided your article was on the Washington Humane Society (“Heel Thyself,” 3/26). If anyone should know how troubled the D.C. government is, it’s the Washington City Paper—so why extol the virtues of the Department of Health and trash the oldest and most respected humane society in the area?

If you wanted sensationalism, you got it. But not good journalism.
