I came upon your generous offer to make corrections for the Washington Times (Dept. of Media, “Corrective Behavior,” 4.16). Congratulations! This is another example of the way lowering our standards for education affects a nation. We are obviously allowing individuals to graduate from elementary school without knowing the difference between a sentence and a paragraph. It certainly is easier to manipulate an uneducated populace.
