The Washington City Paper is very good at perpetuating stereotypes. But in spite of your cover stories you run week after week, I’m choosing not to believe that:
1. Every person in D.C. is fat.
2. Every person in D.C. is black.
3. Every black person is fat.
Your cover article about fat cops (“Pounding the Pavement,” 8/20) takes the cake (and apparently eats it, too).
