If anyone deserves his own episode of Cribs, it’s Santa Claus. Think about it: As the head of a gazillion-dollar multinational nonprofit, this cat is living plush. He’s got a secluded estate (how many people can say they reside at the North Pole?), legions of obsessed fans all over the globe, and a ride that’s so pimped-out it doesn’t even need rims. (Take that, Xzibit!) But for every playa there’s a hater, as evidenced in Steve Oedekerk’s new animated IMAX feature Santa vs. the Snowman 3D. It seems Santa (voiced by Jonathan Winters) and his large lifestyle have drawn the jealous ire of the Snowman, who craves the love and attention Kris Kringle gets and decides to holiday-jack the old man. But Santa’s not goin’ out like that, and soon a full-scale war breaks out over the fate of Christmas. Witness what happens when snowmen go bad when the film screens at 4 p.m. (see Showtimes for other dates) at the National Museum of Natural History’s Johnson IMAX Theater, 10th Street and Constitution Avenue NW. $8.
