A female aide reported to Security that while outside for recess, she observed a female special education student chewing on a used condom. The student was escorted to the school nurse. The student’s parent was notified, responded to the school and stated that she would be taking the student to the hospital to be examined.

Improper Conduct
Stevens Elementary School
Oct. 25, no time reported.
A female student was falling asleep in the classroom when a female teacher stated to her, “If you don’t stay awake in my class, I am going to spit in your face.” The school-assigned Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officer was notified. The MPD officer did not complete a report. A Watkins Investigator is requested. Administrative action is pending at this time.

Threat
Shaw Junior High School
Sept. 10, 5 p.m.
A male principal reported to Security that a male maintenance worker became very disrespectful, disorderly as well as using profanity. The principal further states that the maintenance worker said, “Your life is short, I’m like the Taliban, I will blow this motherf**cker up.” Security stated that she informed the maintenance worker’s Supervisor at approximately 3:40 p.m. that he appeared to be intoxicated. The supervisor stated to Security that after learning the information about the worker, he then informed the principal of the worker’s condition. Another male maintenance worker stated that he had to restrain the [disruptive] worker from hitting the principal. MPD was notified, responded and completed a report. The maintenance worker has been put on administrative leave at this time. The case is still being investigated.
