Yellow bandana, left back pocket. Come on, now—you should know this. You gotta know this, if you have any hope whatsoever of making a splash at Smartass Trivia Night, the weekly team trivia night for ’mos and ’mo-friendlies upstairs at Titan Bar, where other nights find the leather guys and the Latin lesbians gathering for their respective socials. (Sociable folk, we ’mos are.) Who cares if Esperanto is more widely understood than the delicious ’70s artifact that is the hanky code? That’s what makes it trivia. And knowing how to telegraph your fondness for, ahem, watersports could be what makes you and your teamies the reigning smartasses. Or giant, damp dorks, depending on your perspective. Get out that tattered copy of The Gay Book of Days and order yourself an overpriced martini when the rounds start at 7:30 and 9 p.m. at Titan Bar, 1337 14th St. NW. Free. (202) 427-6265. (Trey Graham)
