I don’t get it. Is your cover article (“More Than a Feline,” 5/27) supposed to be some kind of joke? No one in his right mind wants to read about some anonymous couple whining about their dead cat when human beings are dying in the Middle East and elsewhere.

Additionally, why write the story in such a serious tone and then give it a semisarcastic title like “More Than a Feline”?

Surely you can find something more interesting and urgent to write about. Sheesh.

Perhaps you guys should submit the article to the Onion. It would get a million laughs—I guarantee it.
