Motorist Flings Bread at Officer

Location: Alley behind 2600 block of Connecticut Ave NW

Incident Report: While [Ward was] issuing tickets in the rear of the 2600 blk of Connecticut Ave. N.W. a gentleman delivering bread started calling her names and saying she was trash. She had already issued him a ticket for the alley when he took some loaves of bread out of his truck and began throwing them at Ms. Ward. Ms. Ward left the alley after telling him that she was going to get the police. She returned with the police and no report was taken. The police officer informed Ms. Ward that she could leave. There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
