By the end of your article about Chris Kahrl (Cheap Seats, “Change Up,” 8/26)—the part about her canny analysis of the Nationals—I had totally stopped thinking about the Chris/Christina thread of the story and had gotten to daydreaming about what she’d have to say about my overpaid and beleaguered Yankees. I guess that’s the point: Boy, girl, boy-that-became-a-girl—if you have something interesting to say about baseball, I’m all ears.
