This letter is about “A Bridge Too Far” (Dept. of Media, 9/16).

The story, while indeed underreported in mainstream newspapers, did get significant play on last week’s episode of This American Life, where Lorrie Slonsky got to tell an extended story on trying to escape New Orleans. I don’t know if the omission in your piece was intentional or just an oversight. The story can be found at www.thislife.org.
