Dave McKenna’s statement that WMAL has “targeted fascist listeners” for years is a cheap shot (“Cheap Seats,” 1/20). WMAL is a conservative talk-radio station. That’s a popular format these days. There’s certainly plenty of room to critique WMAL (I’d begin with its hairy-chested bumper stickers that say that WMAL is “where America comes first”), but none of its talent is Nazis—or even neo-Nazis.
Hasn’t McKenna learned something that people on the Net have known for years—that anytime you compare anyone to Hitler, you’ve lost the argument?
