Re: “Where Did the Time Go?” (7/28): good luck, Mr. Sobelsohn. My husband also sustained brain damage due to a juvenile attack. The juvenile was sentenced for 10–15 years but is now out and back to normal life after six months. While our nightmares go on, he leads a life not blighted by a record because he happened to be a juvenile. Why has the system failed us? Where was justice? The injury occurred on the job, and so I must also complain about the hell we have received from the D.C. Office of Workers’ Compensation. We have seen the Ward 4 councilmember, nada. Whom do you talk to? Maybe when the juveniles from Mr. Sobelsohn’s case are released and he receives the shocking news, more people will be aware of the problem and want to do something. For my husband, we are just out of luck.
