Health Department Says: operating a food establishment without a current business license
Business Says: Ditto. “It’s simple: We had an expired license,” says Dakota Cowgirl owner Glenn Mlaker. “There were no nasty scallions from Taco Bell, nothing as dramatic as that.” The outdated license was discovered during a routine inspection. “It hangs on the wall—who looks at that stuff?” Mlaker jokes. Mlaker says he was able to renew his license without a problem, and he reopened his establishment the next day.
