City Paper is not for tourists
We live in a fine city for cookie eating. Firehook, Whole Foods, and Krupin’s—not to mention every other bakery and deli in between—all hawk perfectly respectable chocolate-chippers. But Marvelous Market produces the best, which hardly qualifies as a scoop. We’re talking about perfection on all critical fronts: chewy on the inside, crisp and brown on the outside, quality chips, and a great price point. The cookie is $1.49, a true bargain given its huge weight and size. Any respectable Washingtonian who practices portion control will get three servings out of this wonderful product.
