Washington Improv Theater brings you its quadrennial send up of the presidential election, POTUS Among US.
WIT breaks from its traditional restraints by focusing on the political with this completely improvised presidential campaign. The audience suggests the platforms, chooses the candidates and names the winner in this satirical take on the media and politics. Obama and McCain don’t exist in this world, but you’ll certainly recognize the type of backroom deals, on camera gaffes and cut throat competition you’ve come to expect to from our slightly imperfect electoral process. As fast paced, engaging, and unexpected as the real thing, only ours is intentionally funny.
