WASHINGTON IMPROV THEATER’S
Neutrino Video Project 2009
Now thru September 5, 2009
Fridays & Saturdays at 8PM – $15
Source 1835 14th St, NW
Neutrino Video Project: Live. Improvised. Movie.
The show begins with a suggestion and props from the audience. Armed with that inspiration, Washington Improv Theater leaves Source in three teams and begins shooting short scenes live outside the theater at a variety of neighborhood locations. Each team consists of two actors, one shooter and a runner. When the first scene is finished, its tape is run back into the theater and screened on arrival. DC’s Neutrino Video Project begins…
Video switching and audio mixing are done live in the theater in real time. While the audience is watching what has already been filmed, WIT’s actors are outside shooting more scenes. The end result is a seamless film which lasts around 30 minutes and uses the Source neighborhood to help shape its plot.
Completely unscripted, totally unpredictable, and critically acclaimed, the only way to see how it all comes together is to be there when it all goes down.
