The Brewers Association (presenters of the Great American Beer Festival and CraftBeer.com) is returning to Washington, D.C. for the third SAVOR: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience.
SAVOR, the quintessential beer and food event, is a must-attend happening for fermented beverage lovers and foodies alike. Attendees will enjoy craft beers from 70 small and independent craft brewers who will personally pair their offerings with sweet and savory appetizers. Educational salons and private tasting salons will provide additional opportunities to interact with some of America’s most talked-about craft brewers.
As American palates continue to become more sophisticated, many have discovered that beer is the perfect complement to food. The National Restaurant Association Chef Survey recently cited “food-beer pairings” as the number five alcohol and cocktails trend to watch for in 2010 (“locally-produced wine and beer” topped that same trends list).
