Washington City Paper’s Walk Weekend Photo Contest challenges urban explorers to visit as many Dupont-Kalorama museums as possible. Visitors who submit photographs of themselves taken at five or more sites during Walk Weekend are entered to win a prize pack valued at over $400.
For the second year in a row, DKMC is teaming up with the Washington Area Bicyclist Association to make the Museum Walk Weekend bicyclist friendly by providing a safe route between the museums. Bike parking is available at Wilson House and the Textile Museum as well as some of other sites.
Two free shuttles will circulate the sites. Schedules will be available at all sites and at the Museum Walk Weekend information tables.
An information table for the public, providing schedules and maps, will be situated at Dupont Circle on Saturday, June 5 from approx 10am-3pm and at the Dupont Circle FRESHFARM Market on Sunday, June 6 from 9am-1pm.

More information and a schedule of events can be found at Dupont-Kalorama Museums Consortium’s website: dkmuseums.com
