Choralis, the mixed voice chorus under Artistic Director Gretchen Kuhrmann, concludes its 2009-2010 season with Mendelssohn’s Elijah at 7 pm, Saturday, June 26th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 4900 Connecticut Avenue NW, in Washington, DC.

Mendelssohn’s powerful oratorio tells the story of the biblical prophet Elijah’s struggle against the followers of Baal and a rebellious people. Soloists for this concert are: Danielle Talamantes, Soprano, Grace Gori, Mezzo Soprano, Dennys Moura, Tenor, and Kerry Wilkerson, Baritone.

Tickets for the concert are also available ($40 premium seating; $25 general admission; $5 students 25 and under with ID) at www.choralis.org or by calling 703 237-2499. Children 12 and under are admitted free.
