In this contemplative short, sibling filmmakers Ira and Lynn Sachs provide a visual eulogy for Manhattan artists who died of AIDS. The camera visits the final residences of 18 different New Yorkers, including Cookie Mueller, Robert Mapplethorpe, and Vito Russo—watching for a few moments while displaying the name and address of the deceased—and then moves on. The film is an appropriately brief, to-the-point memorial.
