Wednesday, November 17
Clarendon Ballroom
Arlington, VA

It’s time to get your cowboy boots and Stetsons out to party in true Texan fashion at the 2010 Terlingua Two Step. Come dance with this city’s fine folks from the Lone Star State starting at 7:30pm with free dance lessons starting shortly thereafter. The evening’s entertainment will feature the tunes of Cory Morrow, who Willie Nelson has likened to “the artistic Dalai Lama to all Texas musicians.” Tickets to this year’s fiesta are now on sale at texasstatesociety.org ($35 per person in advance, $40 at the door). Washington City Paper readers have the opportunity to win tickets to this year’s event, which includes a free drink ticket for each attendee. The Two Step is open to the public, but limited to adults 21+. This year’s event is possible thanks to some generous sponsors, including Lockheed Martin, Hill County Hospitality, Triumph Group, Gold Standard PR, and the Clarendon Ballroom.
