DC is more than monuments, politics and traffic and The Our City Film Festival, now in its fourth year, is out to prove it. The only festival that showcases DC-focused films, Our City screens narratives and documentaries that show the real side of Washington. The films are all about or take place in DC, highlighting the many cultures, histories and people that live in our diamond-shaped city.

There are films for everyone ranging from a documentary about The Washington Redskins, to a documentary about a vacant lot in Columbia Heights being transformed into a community garden, to a political thriller directed by Eric Hilton of The Thievery Corporation, to our festival finale with an appearance by the Georgetown Cupcake ladies screening their second season finale of their TLC show, DC Cupcakes and doing a cupcake decorating demonstration.
